What to expect

SUNDAY MORNINGS you will find some of us gathering in our fellowship hall and classrooms to settle into our Sunday school classes.  This act of worship--learning more from God's word--lasts just under an hour.  We have classes for toddlers through adults.  There are usually compelling topics to study such as parenting, various books of the Bible, being good stewards of God's money and other resources, and more.  The children's curriculum is also Bible-based.

At 9:30 there is fun fellowship in the foyer with snacks, coffee and tea available for everyone.  This time of fellowship we really enjoy as we get to know one another and build our community.

Following Sunday school, we continue with folks gathering in the sanctuary where we worship through song (both hymns and choruses blended nicely);
worshiping by hearing God's word spoken to us through the morning's message; announcing a myriad of opportunities for worship through serving others within our community and our world and worshiping by giving back to God a small portion of all He has given us through our tithes and offerings.

You will find the spectrum of attire on a Sunday morning. Some wear suits or dresses while others are more comfortable in jeans or slacks. We want you to be comfortable, so wear what feels right to you. On the second Sunday of the month, we have a potluck fellowship meal following the morning service.  This form of worship combines two of our favorites--food and friends!

At many other times throughout the year there are just a lot of opportunities for fellowship with one another (did you know that fellowship is a ten-letter word for food?!). Check out the calendar for a current schedule of events.
