Who We Are
WHAT WE BELIEVE: That God is real and Jesus is his Son who came to us in human form. He
is a pretty cool guy with a compassionate sense of humor who somehow finds a way to love
everybody and gives meaning to our lives. We try to model our behavior after Jesus. Being
human, however, we sometimes fall short of the goal.
THE BIBLE: A book that helps us understand God and how to live. Some great, mysterious, and
funny stories can be found here as well as some useful words for meaningful living. God's
words to live by.
LENGTH OF OUR SERVICE: Same as everywhere else: on a good day, much too short. On a
bad day.....seems to go on forever!
MUSIC: A nice blending of hymns of the faith and contemporary choruses. Some piano
accompaniment as well as a capella singing.
WHAT TO WEAR: Whatever you want; just wear something!
THE OFFERING: A chance to worship with our wallets. Regular members do the giving. Visitors
are NOT expected to contribute!
FRIENDLY: Depends on who you talk to. Some of the friendliest people in the world are here.
But not everybody! You'll have to judge for yourself.
