What Our Worship is Like

We do a lot of worshipping on Sunday morning.  However, we try to
make worship a part of our days Monday through Saturday, too.

Sunday mornings will find us gathering around 9 a.m. to get a cup
of coffee, a little snack and settling in to our Sunday school
classes.  This act of worship--learning more from God's word--lasts
just under an hour.  We have classes for toddlers right through to
adults.  There are usually compelling topics to study such as
parenting, various books of the Bible, being good stewards of
God's money and other resources, and more.  The children's
curriculum is also Bible-based.

Following Sunday school, we continue with folks gathering in the
sanctuary where we worship through song (both hymns and
choruses are blended nicely); sharing testimony, praises, prayer
requests; announcing a myriad of opportunities for worship
through serving others within our community and our world;
worshipping by giving back to God a small portion of all He has
give us through our tithes and offerings; and worshipping by
hearing God's word spoken to us through the morning's message.

On the second Sunday of the month we have a potluck meal
following the morning service.  This form of worship combines two
of our favorites--food and friends!

At many other times throughout the year there are just a lot of
opportunities for fellowship with one another (did you know that
fellowship is a ten-letter word for food?!).  Check out the "Calendar
of Events" section for current dates on what is on the schedule.
